This is an import from Japan, so it won’t play US umd movies/shows but it will play any US games. The language has already been set to English. It has a higher quality charger (as indicated by the solid prongs in last pic rather than the 3/4 point prongs that most sellers include), and the battery has a larger cell and better pcb board inside (the better pcb board reduces failure rate a lot).
